On a daily basis Jonathan Reynolds is “fellow” and director of Oxford Institute of Retail Management and responsible for the research and management development programs at the institute.
Originally, he started his career as teacher at University of Edinburgh, followed by a job as project manager at Coca Cola. Today he is heavily involved with counseling of the customers at Templeton College, within the areas of retailing, the financial and services sectors.
Reynolds holds an MBA but he is also trained within as different fields as geography, urban planning and retailing. Currently he is teaching and researching within the fields of detail- and commodity trading and some of his specialties within these areas are application of new technology, service, structural development tendencies, strategy, planning, distribution, databases and direct- and local marketing.
Within the above mentioned fields, Reynolds has published a number of articles and held numerous lectures around the world. He is a vital and sympathetic speaker and his audiences benefit from his ability to communicate his messages and key issues within the areas he, so obviously, is very enthusiastic about.
