Is your company strategically prepared for the future?

Mats Lindgren is originally a trained technical physicist, but also holds an American master-degree in Human Services. In 2001 he received a doctorate in Business Administration from Henley Management College/Brunel University in England, based on a thesis about the importance of strategic flexibility for the progress of companies in changing environments. As managing director and partner of Kairos Future in Stockholm he primarily works with interesting projects within the border region between future and strategy – topics that have held his interest since the 1980’ies when he started his career as management consultant.

Listening to Mats Lindgren you are fascinated by his ability to combine imaginative thoughts with research, and at the same time capture and understand the issues of tomorrow. In an entertaining and educating way he provides his audience with new knowledge and inspiration to solve challenges, based on real life experiences. A strong example of his talent for making complicated material understandable to non-specialists is his doctoral thesis. One of the main conclusions is that successful companies act like a jazz orchestra, where a few simple rules and a steady rhythm (from corporate management) are combined with competent members’ freedom to improvise and experiment.

Mats Lindgren is a very popular speaker, and when participating in one of his seminars you are not in doubt that he holds a tremendous amount of knowledge and are strongly committed to issues of future, strategy and the external environment. If you wish to learn more about these interesting topics, his books are highly recommendable. He has written more than a dozen books since 1985 – one of them is "Beyond Mobile”, co-authored with his colleague Jörgen Jedbratt.
