Peter Fisk is a former Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has extensive strategic marketing experience working with leading clients such as American Express, BT and Microsoft, defining and implementing high performance marketing. He previously led the worldwide marketing consulting team of PA Consulting Group where he developed market strategies and solutions for a wide range of business and consumer-based brands. In particular, his experience has been in market strategy, brand development and business innovation.
Most recently he has focused on value-based marketing, making the hard connections between marketing activities and the creation of long-term shareholder value. He is also the author of a wide range of articles and publications. He is currently bringing new research and latest marketing thinking in a book called High Performance Marketing, and is also co-author of "The Complete CEO" which will be published in mid 2004. He began his career with British Airways in brand development and market strategy, working on projects such as Club World and Executive Club. He has a passion for marketing and is committed to improving the practice, professional and perception of the marketing community, and speaking on its behalf
