Sjur Dagestad is a Professor of Innovation at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Sjur is originally educated as an Engineer and even has a Doctorate in Engineering. He has held positions such as Director of Innovation, and Research and Development Director at major Norwegian companies. Apart from his teaching as a Professor, Sjur heads his own consulting company within Creativity and Innovation.

During a year Sjur Dagestad conducts over 100 sessions on Innovation and Creativity with private and public companies. 

He believes that in order to be creative you must keep your brain active. To keep himself fit in body and soul, Sjur climbs the mountains of Norway, collects coins, is a passionate sculptor, makes drawings, and writes poems.
